Facebook recently released their 3.2 (and subsequent 3.2.1) update which fixed bugs and introduced the Places feature (USA only at the moment). After writing about this update and then installing it on my iPhone 4, I encountered a problem instantly–I could no longer login to Facebook on my iPhone!

Thanks to the iPhoneinCanada.ca community, here is a fix to the Facebook for iPhone problem when you can’t login. It involves a current jailbroken iPhone, SBSettings, and BiteSMS.
Here’s how to fix this login problem, so you can resume reading about things you really didn’t need to read about!
*update: this will fix your facebook login but disable the biteSMS quick compose feature. BiteSMS will have an update out soon.
How to Fix the Facebook for iPhone 3.2.1 Can’t Login Problem: Tutorial
1. Open SBSettings–>More–>Mobile Substrate Addons.
2. Disable the biteSMSsb toggle to OFF
3. Restart your Springboard via SBSettings:
4. Launch Facebook–you should now be able to login!
After following the above tutorial, I was able to login to Facebook, and BiteSMS still worked perfectly.
