Installer v3.1 Update: Now with Search Capabilities!

If you haven’t launched Installer recently, then you probably haven’t noticed there is a new Installer update. The new version bring something that I have wanted for the longest time–search (it’s like Installer is now on drugs)! With the hundreds of 3rd party iPhone applications out there, this new feature will come in real handy when you’re trying to find an app.

Here’s an example of the new search feature. A search box now appears whenever you go to Install and click on a category. The picture below shows how easy it is to find the new Digg iPhone theme by Louie Mantia.

You’ll also notice apps are categorized by letters too.
