BBM for iPhone has been updated to support Touch ID, along with new monthly subscriptions options in the BBM Shop to remove ads or to buy a customized PIN.
If you want to remove ads shown in BBM, it will cost you $1.19 per month, while the ability to create your own custom PIN is $2.29 per month. This allows you to create a unique PIN that is 6-8 characters long that can contain numbers and letters, so you can differentiate yourself from friends. Err…so this is like being able to customize your ICQ number? 🙂
Buying into a subscription also gets you a badge on your profile picture to let people know you’re a premium user as well.
