Bell has extended the sports content of Bell Mobile TV by announcing the addition of NBA TV Canada and NBA on TSN:
“Bell Mobile TV’s addition of non-stop basketball action from NBA TV Canada and NBA on TSN means keeping up with your favourite sports, anytime, anywhere, just got better,” said Wade Oosterman, President of Bell Mobility and Residential Services, and Bell’s Chief Brand Officer.
Bell users of the Mobile TV app will be able to see NBA games and shows such as NBA Game Time, Open Court and The Jump. Subscribers will also get access to the NBA All-Star Game, Playoffs, and Finals, numerous Toronto Raptors games and marquee NBA match-ups.
Upcoming sports coverage will also include the NFL Playoffs starting January 5, Super Bowl XLVII on February 3 and TSN’s coverage of the upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Junior Hockey Championship from December 26 to January 5.
Bell Mobile TV is available for $5/month which allows subscribers 10 hours of mobile data streaming via their iOS app (recently updated for the iPhone 5). The app debuted in February of 2010 and allows viewing of TV, news, sports and more.
