Chrome browser for iOS has just received some fresh updates for the new year, making the app more responsive, for a faster and a more secure mobile browsing experience.
Engineers say these changes make Chrome for iOS “significantly faster and more stable”, allowing users to resume from where they left off browsing on another device, similar to the way Handoff feature works for Safari.
Also new is a redesigned New Tab page, while Spotlight integration makes it easy to find your Chrome bookmarks.
Additionally, the desktop version of Chrome is also being updated with features to help you manage your data usage while using public WiFi, among other security improvements.
