Deezer Launches Apple Watch App to Control Music from your Wrist

Streaming music service Deezer has launched an Apple Watch app, which allows user to access and control Flow, My Music, Charts and Mixes and also your downloaded songs for offline listening.

The app contains numerous options, with the Player allowing you to Like or Dislike a track, or swipe right to see the audio player. There’s also the included use of Force Touch, to bring up the ability to repeat songs, shuffle the current playlist or see your queue list.

Alexander Holland, Chief Content and Product Officer, Deezer, said in a statement to iPhone in Canada “I love my classic watch, but when I want to listen to Flow on-the-go, it’s my Deezer on Apple Watch that lets me listen to all my favourite tracks on hand – anytime, anywhere.”

The streaming service is available in over 180 countries, with over 6 million subscribers, able to access over 40 million tracks, making it the “world’s largest music library”, according to the company.

Deezer for iOS was updated today with this Apple Watch app, so it’s available now for all users running iOS 8.2 or higher.
