The Edmonton Oilers aren’t in the playoffs but they did win the ‘Connor McDavid’ Draft Lottery. While their fans have nothing to cheer for right now (maybe they’ve jumped onto the Flames bandwagon?), they do have an Apple Watch app!
Edmonton Oilers Mobile was updated today to bring support for Apple Watch, to bring schedules, standings, rosters, scores and more:

The Edmonton Oilers Mobile App adds support for Apple Watch, which gives fans timely, relevant information about their favorite team at a glance, including:– Stats for past, present, or upcoming games
– League standings, to see how their favorite team is doing against its competitors
– Bio and statistical information about each player listed in the Roster section
– Updates to current games, as well as information about upcoming games, without even needing to open the Watch app

While Apple Watch support may not seem useful right now, come next season Oilers fans do have something to look forward to. Let’s just hope they get their watches by then.
