Does anyone still watch Survivor? For the fans out there, the Global Video app has been updated to include a new live syncing feature to allow you to have an interactive experience during the show, a trend that seems to growing for TV shows (like the Walking Dead app). As last reported, the app had surpassed over 720,000 downloads back in December.
The updates takes advantage of Game Center to allow fans to earn points and achievements during the show. More importantly, this update includes a much needed fix for AirPlay, as it would time out before and go to sleep. Here’s what’s new:

• iDevice will no longer go into “sleep” mode while using AirPlay

• Improved scrubbing
