IKEA Launches Mobile App To Make In Store Shopping Easier

If you enjoy complicated, 3D puzzles, with instructions in a foreign language, then you probably like to shop at IKEA. 😛 IKEA is the place to go for affordable, stylish home furnishings. Their retails stores can seem like a maze, and finding what your looking for can be a challenge. When buying furniture at IKEA, you have to write down the special location code associated with the furniture, and then travel to a completely different part of the building to collect your disassembled new furnishings. Well, IKEA has just released an iOS app to help make this process a little less painless.

The new app allows you to do your browsing right from your iOS device. You look through all the categories, or simply do a search for what you’re looking for. Once you find what you want, you used to have to find the notepads and mini pencils to right down your info. Now, with the new app, you just add the items to your shopping list (the middle tab in the app), then select what store you’ll be shopping at, and the app will automatically tell you where to find your item in the store. The is also great for letting you know where the item you want is in stock, so you’re not running around the city, to multiple locations, to find what you want.

Shopping at IKEA just got easier with our new official mobile app. Find up-to-date information about our products, stores and special offers right at your fingertips. Create shopping lists anytime, anywhere, find out if what you want is in stock and where to find it in the store.
