Laurentian Bank Launches Optimized LBCDirect Mobile for iPhone
Canadians are fairly lucky with our plethora of banking apps, and now Laurentian Bank customers can do so with today’s announcement of LBCDirect:
The new LBCDirect Mobile service is just as secure as using LBCDirect on a computer. In fact, sessions are protected by the most effective security and encryption practices, as are all of Laurentian Bank’s online services.
A number of transactions are now accessible via mobile phone, including:
- verification of bank account, line of credit and VISA balances
- bank transfers
- payment of bills associated with LBCDirect Internet access
- communication with the Client Service Department via e-mail
- reporting of a lost or stolen card
Note this is strictly a web app, and not a standalone app. Visit https://m.laurentianbank.ca/ in mobile Safari to access the new service. Let me know how well this service works if you’re a Laurentian Bank customer.

The Laurentian Bank web/mobile is really a sad low budget attempt to be on mobile phones.
You cannot access your Visa info except for balance amount. Does not provide LBC ATM locations which is frequently what you need when on the road. In fact, even their WWW page makes it very chalenging to locate a branch. Who ever is responsible for web at LBC should be replaced with someone more cutomer oriented.
App is not working any more pictures do not show up on ipod when loging in
