If you’re not familiar with LEGO Minifigures Online, it’s a video games based on LEGO’s popular minifigures line of toys. You can collect hundreds of the minifigs within the game and use their special abilities to get through the various levels.

Until now the game has only been available in beta and only on Windows computers. But on June 29th you’ll be able to enjoy the game not only on Windows, but Mac, iOS, Android and Linux as well. With the game working on more platforms, LEGO is also promising you’ll be able to switch easily between any of the platforms and play with others online who may be playing the game on other platforms as well.

Sadly the price of the game is no longer free. It’ll now cost you $30 U.S. to play on your PC and $5 U.S. for the mobile version. With the mobile version you’ll have to buy the other levels as in-app purchases. Of note, iOS users will be able to start buying more levels at launch on June 29th, while Android users will be able to buy more levels later this summer.

Now that LEGO Minifigures Online is pay-to-play, LEGO is promising the game has been overhauled and features new content, better features, unique events and a lot more.

If you have been playing the beta version, you will have to buy the game to keep playing, but your progress is saved and you’ll be able to pickup where you left off. And yes, those codes you’ve been collecting when you buy LEGO minifigures will still be part of the game.
