Postmedia’s National Post app for iPhone and iPad has been redesigned, to bring “a richer and more vibrant experience of our news content.”
The update adds a new simple look and feel to the app, adds more content including added multimedia, plus various levels of news from world, national to regional. Reading the news in the app is a continuous flow thanks to its ‘unlimited scroll’ design.
The app also now has push notifications for breaking news, and will ask users to allow them once you open the app. The app’s settings allows you to change font sizes from three choices. There is an in-app purchase of $9.99 per month which offers unlimited access, as early reviews in iTunes say there are 10 free articles before the paywall appears, in this new pay-per-use model.
