still don’t have this in western canada.
Says I’m not a Rogers Wireless customer. Guess they’re not getting my $75 a month payments for the last 12 years.
Ouch
Oh, I see. You have to turn off LTE.
Just used it at home and its pretty good! I can turn on my PVR with my phone! There’s a little lag (no LTE here just slow ass 3G!) but its only seconds and that’s expected.
I like how the recorded section is way more accurate and same with the schedule section.
The guide is a hell of a lot easier to navigate and the interface itself is lot more eye appealing.
All in all its a great upgrade!
No 8642 support still?
It is seeing my Explorer 8642 but comnection is poor. Does it work on WiFi?
Getting a general error and it reports it cannot reach the remote service.
There is support but the only catch for 8642 is that u need to be on the new “Enhanced” guide for it to work which blows! All other boxes work with older guide :/
It’s not showing my two 8642 PVRs. Telling me they are unavailable and giving me an error.
Go figure, Rogers with their half assed approaches.
On a lighter note, glad to see that comments are now showing up on Flipboard Gary; without having to “load original article”.
I think the error is temporary. An issue on Rogers’ end. Earlier it was working quit well.
It keeps giving me an error message. I hope it gets fixed soon. Sounds like it would be an incredible service if it would work.
I have an 8300, for some reason the app can’t see my supported box.
