Scotiabank Mobile Banking for iOS, Scotia iTrade for iPad Get Minor Updates

Scotiabank has updated their iOS apps today, specifically their mobile banking apps for iPhone and iPad, which now allow users to make mortgage prepayments and also subscribe to paperless billing for their investment accounts.

What’s New in Version 14.8.0

You can now make a mortgage prepayment.
Go paperless with your Investment accounts.

Still no signs of a photo chequing feature yet.

An update also was released for Scotia iTRADE for iPad, which now allows a single sign for this app along with Scotiabank for iOS (latest versions of both apps required). Also new is the ability to enrol securities into DRIP or DPPs:

What’s New in Version 1.1

Update includes:
– Enroll eligible securities in DRIP (Dividend Reinvestment Plan) or DPP (Dividend Purchase Plan) via the Scotia iTRADE app
– Easily transition between your Scotia iTRADE app and the Scotiabank app with a single sign on. NOTE: You must have the latest versions of both apps for this functionality to work.
– Bug fixes

Scotiabank released iPad versions of its banking app and iTRADE app last July.
