The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) has launched a new iPhone app today to bring various health services information to your smartphone, including hospital wait times and more.
Connected Care allows users to view approximate wait times in the ER, plus the ability to view emergency department/urgent care locations on a map.
The health services directory uses your location to display what services are near you, either by service type or area. You can also share such information easily with friends or family members.
The app also allows quick access to MyRightCare.ca, SignUpForLife.ca (organ donor sign up) and a family doctor finder.
“We are committed to providing health services information in the most accessible way,” said Perry Poulsen, CIO, Manitoba eHealth. “The app’s ease of access makes it more efficient.”
