21.5-inch iMac Will Be Available on November 30

Apple has decided to end the rumors surrounding the newly introduced iMacs and their release date, and has issued a press release early this morning. As you may remember, the rumor mill speculated that the new iMacs wouldn’t be available for sale as scheduled; and furthermore, that their release date would be pushed back to 2013.

However, this rumor was later denied by 9to5Mac sources close to Apple, and yesterday an anonymous source tipped Macrumors about the new iMacs being available for purchase on Wednesday, November 27.

Today Apple decided to go public about the iMac release date and issued a press release announcing that the redesigned 21.5-inch all-in-one will be available on Friday, November 30.

“Apple® today announced the all-new iMac® will be available on Friday, November 30. Featuring a stunning design, brilliant display with reduced reflection, faster processors and an innovative new storage option called Fusion Drive, the new iMac is the most advanced desktop Apple has ever made. The 21.5-inch iMac will be available through the Apple Online Store (www.apple.com), Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers. The 27-inch iMac will be available for order through the Apple Online Store and will begin shipping in December.”
