Virgin to Launch Unlimited Calling Plans on Nov. 9th from $55-95

Looks like Virgin is set to launch similar unlimited talk and text plans like its big brother, Bell. An update posted by MobileSyrup notes Virgin Mobile will launch identical plans tomorrow but with different names to describe each plan.

According to the internal memo:

“Oh snap! With the Holiday season upon us, we’re in the gift-giving mood and we’ve wrapped up some hot new Combo plans that include UNLIMITED CALLING options! Launching Friday, November 9th, Virgin Mobile is introducing sexy new Combo plans that include everything our Members need. Plus, they’ll be able to put up to 500 on their Virgin Mobile SuperTab!”

Here’s what Bell announced yesterday:

  • $55/month 1000 minutes, 200 MB broadband data
  • $65/month unlimited local talk, 1 GB broadband data and 10 hours of Bell MobileTV
  • $75/month unlimited local talk, 3 GB broadband data and 10 hours of Bell MobileTV
  • $95/month unlimited Canada-wide talk, 5 GB broadband data and 10 hours of Bell MobileTV

Caller ID and voicemail are not included, like the other unlimited plans announced by Rogers. However, these similar unlimited TELUS plans do but cost $5 more per month.

Stay tuned for any official announcements tomorrow.

  • Gotta love canadian telcos. No plan has been different from what others have provided.

  • Canadian wireless carrier tango. So fun to watch from the sidelines.

  • I wish Wind would upgrade to LTE

I think I saw these plans before.

Why is this news? These are horrible!

  • gtasscarlo

Tangos or just meeting up and saying how do we confuse people. Just like the gas companies!

Wow I pay 80$ for the same 95$ plan presented plus text, voicemail, call display, and 6gb data on fido!
