Rogers, Videotron Wireless Networks Best in Montreal: RootMetrics

RootMetrics has released their second-half 2015 report for Montreal, where they have crowned the Video and Rogers wireless networks as the best overall in terms of performance, narrowly beating the TELUS and Bell network:

In this round of testing, Videotron and Rogers shared the Overall RootScore Award in Montréal. When we tested Montréal in September 2014, Bell and Videotron shared the Overall RootScore Award.

Videotron saw the fastest median download speed at 41 Mbps and Rogers had the fastest median upload speed at 25.6 Mbps. If you take a look at the charts below, the scores are so close the ‘Big 3’ are virtually the same:

The results released by PCMag’s nationwide ‘fastest mobile networks 2015’ test in Canada similarly crowned Videotron as the fastest network in Montreal.
