Fido Price Hikes 750MB Standard Plan to $50, Matches Koodo and Virgin Mobile

This may not seem like a major change, but Fido has increased its $49 Standard Plan to $50, a dollar increase which puts the price finally in line with Koodo and Virgin Mobile’s identical plan. For a minute there I was beginning to worry prices among the Big 3 were off, but this change has definitely reassured me.

Last month, when Fido introduced a $94/month Standard Plan with 5GB data, the plan above was still $49 per month. Guess the $1 discount is over, folks!

Lol I thought the reason to match is to compete but not when you already hae a cheaper price.

    Dumb logic for Fido.

    Hahaha that line, LOVE IT!

  • It was a genuine concern! 😉

  • Megabytes. Ha, how quaint. Most of the rest of the world has data plans measured in Gigabytes now.
