If you’re a Rogers postpaid wireless customer, the company is offering up 1 hour of free long distance calling on Mother’s Day, so you can connect with mom.
Free long distance will be available in Canada and to over 200 international destinations, for postpaid wireless customers—including Wireless Home Phone customers. Rogers clarified Fido wireless customers are not part of this Mother’s Day promotion.
Leroy Williams, Vice-President Rogers Marketing, Rogers Communications, said in a statement to iPhone in Canada, “We want to help families come together on Mother’s Day, no matter the distance. Whether your mom is in Michigan, like mine, or across the pond, we want to make it easier to pick up the phone and call her, with long-distance calling on us.”
Rogers says postpaid wireless customers in Canada can make a call anytime on May 8th and charges will be automatically zero-rated on their next invoice.
