Rogers Improves LTE Wireless Coverage in Winnipeg

Rogers has announced expanded LTE wireless coverage and “network improvements” in Winnipeg, Manitoba, specifically at Main and Broadway in the city’s downtown core (such as along Union Station and The Forks), plus the residential area in Sage Creek, with a new tower installed for the latter’s growing community.

“Our customers want wireless access wherever they are, whether it’s to keep in touch with friends and family, or do business in Winnipeg,” said Colin Bartlett, Director Prairies Region, Rogers Communications, in a press release.

Rogers says earlier this year it has also installed new wireless towers in Winnipeg, at Riverview, Ridgewood, Inkster Industrial Park, McPhillips Ave, Unicity and Brandon North Hill.
