3 Year Contract Pricing:

16GB – $159
32GB – $269
64GB – $369

Contract-free pricing (you might as well buy unlocked from Apple.ca)

64GB – $849

Rogers has contacted us to notify customers the iPhone 4S can be reserved through the Rogers Reservation System starting tomorrow at 6AM EST (3AM PST).

The Rogers Reservation System is accessed by visiting Rogers.com and will require a MyRogers.com account. Once logged in, click on “Device Registration” and follow the instructions.

You will have to pay a $40+tax refundable reservation fee, but this amount will be put towards the cost of the iPhone 4S. You will be credited once the phone ships from the Rogers warehouse, and you can cancel your reservation anytime.

There has been no word yet regarding 3 year term pricing, and early upgrade polices for the iPhone 4S. Stay tuned.

Also, don’t forget tonight at 12:01AM PDT, Apple.ca will start their pre-orders online for the iPhone 4S. Unlocked units will start at $649, most likely for a 16GB model.

Did they say if Fido is 6am?

  • stay tuned until when for early upgrade policies? 😉
I called Fido yesterday and I’m not really happy with the answer…
I’m tempted to buy it full price and go elsewhere when my contract is over…
I did not even bought a phone when I got my contract… so I really do not understand why I can not get a rebate or upgrade pricing for the new iPhone…

  • Anish

strange how every other website starts at 12:01 PST/3:01 EDT. could this be a mistake? or is this 100% guaranteed?

  • Darrsjunk

when i go, it says I am only able to reserve a blackberry…whats up with that??

  • Valdorath

Any word on Fido and their prices or when or if us Fido users can pre-order?

  • Steve

Aren’t we still all on daylight time (PDT/EDT), not standard time (PST/EST)!!!

  • Dwk1991

Do u know if that 40 goes onto ur bill or do u pay it outright

  • Wasabi

Just spent a day at the mall shopping for new contracts. My 3GS and the mrs 3G is booth up for contract renewel from Rogers and have been paying over $100 each. Both our phones are in rough shape, cracked screen etc, and thus holding out for the Latest iPhone. 4s will do, don’t think we can wait till next summer for the 5.

City fido and bell business plans both seem way better than what we currently have, I’ll call Rogers retentions see if they can match, otherwise it’s onto bell or fido. New phones new contracts!!

Recommendations between fido and bell? The data on bell is 6gb, and city fido “should have a 6gb plan” again in the next week or so.

    Hello. Just a question…

I have had my iPhone 4 since day 1 when it came out, July 31st and so its only been like a year and 2.5 months.

I am not sure i can upgrade and am not sure if they will have an early upgrade fee and so if i reserve the device if i find out that i cant upgrade then can i refund it?

    Please help me out.

  • Darrsjunk

No shows only blackberry and Lte

  • JustinB

Blerg, that means I am going to have to set an alarm to wake me up at 3am, why not just make it 12? :-S

  • JustinB

“You will have to pay a $40+tax refundable reservation fee, but this amount will be put towards the cost of the iPhone 4S.”

  • LyV

No siri for canadian iphone 4s?

  • Anish

The iPhone will only show up at 6:00am

  • Gonna reserve a 64GB model. Torn between getting black or white, though. Didn’t like the white one, but it’s grown on me. I wonder if my custom back plates will fit the 4S?

  • Anonymous

This reservation is for full priced no contract right?  When will Rogers post pricing for new customers or those on HUP?

  • Patrick

Oh but Rogers is automatically down for maintenance 2 – 6 every night. Can’t change that!

  • MN

it will have siri, as long as you speak english

  • MN

it should considering the 4s has the same dimensions as the 4

  • AznBill

woo just pre-ordered 64 GB Black

  • Casey Li

Position 42 in line with Device Reservation – how about you guys?

  • Anish

damn position 208. when do you think i will get it?

  • kabsalsa

Ordered a 32 Black position 66 and a 16 Black 109.  I was able to get access just before 6 am.

  • melissa

If I reserve, will I be paying full price?

  • Marco Chung

253…dont know when i will get it at the end…

  • Waynekhan

Pre Ordered.  Either nobody knows or rogers is really good.  Took 2 mins.  Siri is it friday yet?

  • 4s

sorry, to ask,  how can I get into device reservation for rogers?

  • Alex Sebenski

Still can’t find anything about early adopters pricing. I’ve ordered one from both Rogers and Apple. I’ll cancel the one that gives me the worse deal, or give the second one to my girlfriend.
I’ll be looking to you guys to snoop out the cheapest deal I can get as an early adopter. Thanks.

  • Valentin

    208 for Canada! I think that’s good.

  • DC

It’s funny – I’m in position 42 too!  Something fishy?

  • Anish

well hopefully i will get next weekend. thats what i was hoping for 🙂

  • Casey Li

You need to have a Online “MyRogers” account. Log in, and then either on your billing page or “Products and Services” there will be a red button “Device Reservation”. Click on it and it give it a second or two to load up a page. You should see Device Reservation for your phone number. Then you select phone, pick up location, and confirm.

  • Fahad

    position 143 32gig whiteee

  • Fahad

im 143…. shoot took me friggen 10 mins to find the damn reservation page

  • Pwobrien

Won’t let me click reserve at the end of the page. I click it and nothing happens…

  • Ccguidi

Position 53 for a white 16gb. I assume they rank position by phone SKU.

  • Chobertt

    GOT MINE BITCHES!!!

    Is it Friday yet???

  • Chobertt

SShhhh!!!  you’re gonna wake ’em up!

  • 4s

got it, position 522 in line,  status open,  seems the position number is counting down very slowly. not sure what’s this meaning. need manual process or something?

  • Pwobrien

Turns out it was my shitty browser. Used google chrome and got it!

  • Okina

I got mine in at 6:02am.  I stand at 114 for the 64GB Black.  I think that’s good.

I probably would have been below 100 if I didn’t take the time to actually read parts of the Terms and Conditions…

    ^_^

  • Dkwchan

Make sense.  I ordered the 32GB white.

  • Casey Li

DC, what model did you order – I ordered White 64GB – I wonder if there’s overlap with different models – maybe region as well – I’m in Ontario.

  • Anish

ok im confused. what does the position mean? is it your position in line for that specific model or all iPhones in general? and is it for that particular store or just from rogers? I’m trying to figure out how good/bad my position is (208)

  • AznBill

I was able to get in like 20 min before 6am and got lucky number 13

  • Raoul Teteblanc

I am 414 for white, and 629 for black 🙁  I had been trying to reserve since about 5:55 but the “reserve” button at the end was not taking my to the confirmation page… finally got it to work on the thrid computer I tried, which ironically is Windows XP?!?

  • Raoul Teteblanc

    it is model specifc

  • Raoul Teteblanc

Try another computer.  I had the same thing and it finally worked for on my 3’rd computer which is Windows XP?!?

  • DC

I ordered white 32GB and I’m in Ontario.  That means the position is most likely model-specific.

  • Dale

In at 82. I wonder how many they have?

  • Chobertt

That’s because all Macs are mourning now.

  • Chilicheese

    64GB Black #655

  • Anonymous

pretty stupid they ask you to reserve the phone without announcing pricing for 3 years contract. just buy it unlocked from Apple.

  • Anish

does anyone have any idea how many iPhones each store will have in stock of each iPhone?

  • This is what I did… No way I will ever buy anything from the provider if it’s available elsewhere even if it’s more expensive… I don’t want to be locked in any ways…

  • 522nd for the 64GB Black. That’s pretty good, right? (I have no clue)

    I’m pumped either way.

  • Anonymous

agreed!  I reserved the 32gb white at 8am and am 602 in line.  I don’t much care that I’m not #1, hopefully that will give me more time to figure out what their pricing will be, if I’m HUP eligible, and cancel my pre-order if need be.

  • Butlerchick

Sounds good to me! I’m number 501 for 32G in black….. Still not sure if it’ll be worth it but I.HAVE.TO.HAVE.NEW.IPHONE. no matter what… :S  :)))

  • Butlerchick

FULLY REFUNDABLE if you change your mind…. 🙂

  • Darrsjunk

I slept in, and got 1382. Does anyone know when the upgrade details will be announced?

  • Anish

    Is it store specific?

  • Waynekhan

I still don’t know what I am paying to upgrade though.  Only carrier not to announce pricing.  I hope 159+ the stupid 35 fee they charge.

  • conflicted

hi, does anyone know if the $30/6G plan is coming back? I was able to get a reservation but was under the impression the plan would still be available for the new launch. Customer service just told me it was phased out. Sigh. I will have to cancel if it is since paying that much for data is just ridiculous. (am on the bb $30/6G plan right now)

  • Abs

Nope, it’s based on warehouse inventory being shipped to the store of choosing.

    32 Black #471

  • Nrihere

Got 340 queue # when reserved iPhone 4s 32 Gb  White Model, still no pricing information. Bell and Telus at least have the 3 year price, is Rogers trying to compete by actually making the phone cheaper?

  • Your 6GB blackberry plan should also work with the iPhone…

  • Butlerchick

You inspired me to do  the same thing…. I’d reserved one thru Rogers first thing this morning and have now (quite late, I know) reserved one thru Apple.  If the price is comparable, I’ll keep the unlocked one and return Rogers…. (or whichever arrives first!! LOL)

  • gruven

#59 in the queue for 32GB white.. I tried to add another device for registration but the iphone is no longer listed. Is pre-order now closed or is it because I already have one in the queue?

  • DC

I believe you can only reserve one per cell number.

  • gruven

That’s what I thought. Just curious – anyone know what’s the recent queue # up to ?

  • conflicted

I thought so to, but customer service can’t change it over (despite trying) because the “item numbers are different”.  I have asked Rogers before and got the same answer.  Retentions may be able to do something, but people have been having difficulty. Sigh.

  • You don’t have to change anything… Just get a micro sim card for your iPhone, activate it in your account and use your current plan in your iPhone.

  • Waynekhan

I’m 110, but I’m concerned that Rogers hasn’t announced pricing.  I hope they don’t charge more then Telus and Bell.

  • Butlerchick

Although I ordered a black 32G this morning through Rogers (#501) I also ordered an unlocked one thru Apple – I’ll keep whichever one I get first… LOL…. Just got my confirmation from Apple which says “ships October 24-31.  Hopefully Rogers one gets shipped faster!

  • Jordan Natyshen

    I’m number 71 for a White 64GB 4S   🙂

  • Anonymous

I ordered at 8 AM (of course the one day I sleep in) and I’m 898 in queue for 32G black

  • Chris

    184 here.

  • 123Yayouknowme

Number 766 for a Black 64GB. QUESTION: Is this based on all of Ontario?, Canada? or Store?… If each store only gets 10-20 per store every other day, I will be waiting until IPhone5 comes out before it gets there. Does anyone have an answer on this that isn’t a guess?

  • pascyyy

Same boat as you. I’m in position 256, but I don’t know what that relates to. Is it 256
for that model in the specific store? or 256 in the country? I’m
guessing (hoping) it’s nationwide number which means I’m fairly certain
I’ll be able to pick it up on Friday or else early the week after.

  • Adrian

your number is NATIONWIDE for that specific model (ex. White 64gb)

  • Adrian

If your number is, say, 100 for a 32gb black model, your phone will be the 100th black 32gb model to leave rogers’ warehouse from their stock that is reserved for reservation customers.   It will then be shipped to the store for you to pick it up.

  • pascyyy

Thanks. 256 for 32GB Black. I figure if each store (participating in the reservation program) is getting 10-15 of each model on day 1, then I should be safe. Of course, this is all speculation.

  • Adrian

    applied to your bill

  • Jordan Natyshen

I had to get up at 4am, but i think it’s worth it.

  • 123Yayouknowme

    Thanks Adrian,

Any chance you may know on average how many Rogers will get for this “Reserved Stock”? Or when they get this stock in their warehouse?  Do they get it in their warehouse on the 14th and then ship or will they get it this week and ship on the 14th?

  • JustinB

    266 for 64G White

  • Nooch76

I’m position 1880 for white 16gb….I’ll get mine when the iPhone 9 comes out!!!

  • Kevin

I ordered my 16g black at about 2:45 am and ended up as number 60 on the wait list. What numbers did others get when signing up for the pre-order?

  • Chris

I’d like to have Rogers at least tell us if there will be an upgrade policy…(I’m coming from iPhone4 on launch date)…

    Something.

  • Jordan Natyshen

I expect there will be a couple hundred thousand iPhones coming to Canada alone; so I’m sure everyone can get their hands on one.

  • Adrian

Sorry no idea……I don’t think we will ever know this (outside of select rogers employees).  I would assume that they would allocate some of their stock being received this week to lineup customers and the rest to reservation customers.  We will have to wait until Friday to see which people are getting shipping notifications relative to their place in line.

  • Adrian

sorry I meant “never know this”

  • Adrian

    Ugh…forget my correction.

  • pascyyy

I can’t say for certain but after my iPhone 4 busted a month ago, I went into a Rogers store a couple of weeks ago and asked what the damage would be to replace it. They told me I could get the 16GB iPhone 4 for $159 with the standard renewal stuff. I asked about what would happen with the then unannounced iPhone 4S/5 and the guy there said that in all probability, I would still be eligible for the full hardware discount if I re-signed (though he was just shy of guaranteeing). Now, I’ve been with Rogers now for a few years and I currently have a corporate account with them so it’s entirely possible that my case isn’t the typical one but there is still hope.

  • gruven

When I spoke with Rogers yesterday, they mentioned they would be offering “Early upgrade” for $15/month ahead of schedule. For instance, if you were 6 months away from upgrade eligibility, the fee would be $15 x 6 = $90 + cost of phone.

  • Chris

So I just spoke with a Rogers rep on the phone.

She was able to confirm the prices on a contract at:

    $159 for the 16 GB
    $269 for the 32 GB
    $369 for the 64 GB.

I asked if they were offering any special promotions for upgrading from a previous iPhone and she told me it would be store specific for some reason.

  • bassman

Got mine. 879 for black 32 and 546 for white 36.

  • Kaye _

I got position #527 for the black 16GB this morning at 6:18am…just checked back now and went up to #519 though! I hope this keeps up!

  • conflicted

Mario, if this work, I will be soooo grateful. thank you. I guess I will try this on my friend’s iphone 4 and if it works, then keep the order. thank you!!!

  • Kellie Inkster

That would make sense…i’m eligible in 3 months a girl said on the phone and my early upgrade fee would be $45.

  • Fletcher White

    64GB Black  #45

  • kabsalsa

I hope your information is right. I went into a Rogers store today and they said I had to pay $20 per month for each month before 30 months. I was told my fee would be $320 plus the cost of the phone. Will pay it, however….. Hopefully, there will be improvements announced soon. For previous launches Rogers came through with discounts that made me a reasonably happy customer….. Especially when others were not getting the same deals at Bell, etc. It’s a good way for them to keep me as a lifetime customer and I tell all my friends about it. Are you listening Rogers?????

  • I never did it myself… but other on howardforums did it without any problem…

  • Guido

I spoke with Roger’s and it sounds like they are sticking with the 30 month term to be elegible for an early upgrade.

I thought that they used to allow existing IPhone users an early upgrade after 12 months of contract. This sucks.

My wife’s 3GS will have to wait a full 12 months before she can update (without paying a fee) if this is true. 🙁

  • Anonymous

I hope that is not true. I’ve reserved my device anyway, I got the 3GS in Nov 2009 so that is almost 24 months. I’ll be pissed if they make me pay $20 x 6 months = $120 to upgrade. Guess I will cancel my reservation when the time comes that they announce their pricing and upgrade eligibility.

  • wazzi

I hope you are right.  I’m 304 for 32GB Black.  Pissed me off.  I was messing around with IE and the submit button wasn’t working.  Went into firefox and it worked first try.  Lost at least 50 spots!!  I assume the top 500 for each category should be more than safe but who can say for sure.

  • Joe Zei

i was number 1 for the iPhone 4s 16 white . i kept refreshing but it said in the confirmation email “White iPhone 4 16GB” so i cancelled. then they fixed it. got the Black 4S 16gb now I’m 380. lol sucks.

  • Cass

When I preordered my white 16 GB I was in position 172, but I checked back yesterday and was in position 89. Looks promising.

  • rogers has started shipping!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • rogers has started shipping!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anonymous

woah, my spot in the reservation queue for a white 32gb 4s dropped from 580 last night to 211 right now!  A hell of a lot of people must have cancelled their reservation after checking their early HUP eligibility.

  • Or orders before you have been shipped…

  • Anonymous

Oh ya, maybe you’re right.  My status is still OPEN, not shipped so maybe I won’t get it on Friday. 🙁

  • GD45

OK, so I’m cued at 95 for the 32GBWhite. Status is STILL ‘open’. I was kind of hoping that it would at least be ‘in progress’ by now…what’s the verdict? Will I be waiting in a crazy line on Friday and foregoing this reservation?

  • 123

And what makes you think that?

  • 123

    I AM NOT A BITCH…

    I AM A CHIENNE!!!

  • Put the order in on Sunday and I’m 5230:( Don’t think I will be getting it on Friday:(

  • Anish

OMG my position hasn’t gone down since Monday!!!!! When is Rogers going to ship more iPhone 4S’s??? I ordered a black iPhone 4S 32gb and I’m still in position 157

  • Xsiteable

Where do your position – I only received an email and  I don’t see that in myRogers account?

  • Cass

When you log into the Rogers site, go to “Reserve now” Its a button in red I believe. It will tell you where you are on the waitlist.

  • Anonymous

I started out as 529 on Sunday and my order’s finally “in progress”! It’s not gonna make it here by tomorrow, but I’m still excited.

  • Slobs57

I preorded the new iphone yesturday after going into Rigers Wireless and asking some questions. My position # is 5106. If i try a different location will it be lower since my current rogers pick up location is in a big mall.

  • Anonymous

No it won’t change, you are #5106 across Canada for the device you chose.

  • Kevin

This was shipped on the 13th but I still have not received it. I am so annoyed with Rogers right now. The site says 4days max for shipping! What did they do send it via ground.
