Early reviews in iTunes have rated the app with 1 star due to users being unable to login to the app, showing the message “error reading from remote server”, possibly linked to heavy traffic from this update.

Fido My Account for iPhone has not received an update yet (the last update was back in July 2011), but with this recent update to Rogers My Account you can bet the former will follow suit shortly. Both Rogers and Fido My Account iPhone apps were released back in November of 2009.

Thanks Nicholas!

Update: Don’t update if you use Voice Over as some Accessibility features won’t work within the app:

  • I’ve been using Consume instead and I love it. Works over WiFi, easy to see where you are in the billing cycle and allows me to check both my and my wife’s account at the same time.

This will be nice though to get a few extra details on my account without having to turn off WiFi.

    works fine for me

  • FragilityG4

Noticed this little tid bit under the data counter “Usage within the last 12 hours may not be reflected”

Ouch that’s a big jump … Used to be 4 hours … Not to mention that I don’t even get a text message anymore telling me I’ve used 90% of my allowance …. Good one Rogers.
