Rogers Named One of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 2013

Rogers has announced it has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 2013 by Mediacorp Canada, an award that highlights the company’s diverse environment for employees, customers and communities.

“We are proud to be chosen as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers,” said Jim Reid, Rogers Senior Vice-President of Human Resources and Chief HR Officer. “Diversity is a cornerstone of our culture at Rogers. We firmly believe that championing diversity makes us a better employer. It helps us to further understand and serve our customers. And, it enables us to contribute to our communities in strong and meaningful ways.”

The company says it has a “multi-year diversity plan that is developed and championed by the company’s most senior leaders as well as employees.” Just last week the company announced its Q4 2012 earnings and reported a record 940,000 smartphones activated and upgraded.
