The app now has reduced latency for videos, plus better camera synchronization and layouts for fans, to go with the new league-wide scoreboard and new scoring summary carousel.

“We are always looking to improve the user experience so fans can get closer to all the hockey action they want quickly and easily on Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE,” said Scott Moore, President, Sportsnet and NHL Properties, Rogers.

There has also been a re-brand—NHL GameCenter LIVE is now known as NHL.TV outside of Canada. Within Canada, the service remains known as Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE (since the latter has exclusive rights here as part of its 12 year, $5.2 billion deal).

Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE is free for wireless customers on Share Everything Plans or select Rogers Ignite bundles. For everyone else, a full season’s pass starts at $199.99, or $29.99 per month.
