Rogers Smart Home Monitoring for iOS Gets Redesigned and More

Rogers Smart Home Monitoring customers, the company has launched an update to the accompanying iOS app, bringing a “whole new and improved mobile user experience.”

The service is geared towards customers who want Rogers to setup and install smart devices in their home, and get it all configured so users can manage them from their smartphone or tablet.

The home screen is now customizable, allowing easy re-order of devices, plus adds live camera views and quick access to individual devices.

Also new are features that were previously only available in Web Control Centre, but are now accessible in the iOS app.

Users can now create and manage automations, manage their thermostat schedule, create and manage security access codes, view and edit emergency contacts in their Trusted Circle, browse history and activity (includes a clickable calendar and event-based filters), better camera viewing pages plus the ability to save images/videos, plus a new in-app tutorial on how to use Rogers Smart Home Monitoring.

Rogers Smart Home Monitoring starts at $19.99 per month for the first three months on a two-year contract. There is also a one-time $99.99 installation fee, and/or a $211.11 System Upgrader Installation fee on top, plus taxes.

It is a hardware kit that will take over whatever alarm system that you have installed already by other brand. They are starting to sell these in Vancouver now.
