Telus Launches $65/Month 6GB Promo Voice and Data Plan [Update]

Don’t you love the Canadian wireless ‘tango’? 6GB data plans seem to be quite popular the last week as earlier today Koodo released a $60/month plan, and now Telus has released a similar plan for its users.

As noted on the Telus homepage, the $65/month ‘Promo Voice and Data 65’ plan includes the following:

  • 200 anytime minutes
  • Unlimited Nationwide My10 (and Nationwide family calling)
  • 6pm evenings and weekends
  • Unlimited text and picture messaging
  • Caller ID and Voice Mail 3
  • 6GB data
  • Free calling for the first month
  • $65/month; available until August 9th

The 6GB data plans that include caller ID and voicemail are a great deal for $60-65/month. We have also seen 6GB promo plans from Rogers and Bell/Virgin. Which plan are you going to jump on?

Thanks for sending this in, Ex and Nabil!

Update 1: Some clarification for everyone about this plan. According to the fine print on the Telus page:

Valid until August 9, 2012. Plans are available with activations and renewals, and not as a rate plan change.
