Where to Buy Public Mobile SIM Cards? Now at Walmart and 2x the Price [u]

Public Mobile has expanded their SIM card footprint, beyond online ordering, as customers can now purchase them at over 350 Walmart locations across Canada. The company made the announcement a couple weeks ago in their community forums.

The price of a Public Mobile SIM card has also changed—as it has doubled in price from $5 to $10 plus tax, for both online and those purchased at Walmart. When TELUS-owned Public Mobile exited their beta stage almost two years ago, SIM cards were available online for free.

These Public Mobile SIM cards will be located at the back of Walmart stores in the Electronics department.

Also, Public Mobile says top-up vouchers at Walmart are coming soon, noting “We are working to launch this as soon as possible.”

Update: You can also buy SIM cards at WOW! mobile boutique locations.
