Koodo Debuts $59 Canada-Wide ‘SIM-Only’ Plan with 2GB Data

If you’re using an unlocked iPhone or other smartphone, Koodo has just introduced a new Canada-wide SIM-only plan for $59/month (does not apply to SK/MB/QC).

The plan already includes the No Tab discount (10% off; aka BYOD) plus:

• Unlimited anytime minutes (evenings and weekends, etc)
• 2GB of data; $10/500MB overages
• Unlimited SMS/MMS
• Canada-wide calling, includes Family calling
• Call display, voicemail, call waiting and conference calling

Fido and Virgin Mobile offer the same plan but it’s $63 after the BYOD discount. So Koodo’s plan is $4 cheaper at $59. This plan is not bad if you aren’t a heavy data user and have an unlocked iPhone. Let us know if you’re going to jump on this.
