For those looking to get an iPhone 4S with Telus, Western Canada retail chain London Drugs is offering the iPhone 4S for $99 on a 3 year contract, available on the Telus network.
The regular carrier subsidized price for the iPhone 4S is $159 on a three year contract. This deal saves you $60, but as of publishing there’s no word on when the sale starts or ends (we’ll keep you updated). The deal was confirmed via the London Drugs twitter account @LD_Lethbridge:
Telus currently has the iPhone 4 for $0 on a 3 year contract, a sale that started at the end of last May (Rogers/Bell have it for $49).
Should you buy the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 or wait for the next generation ‘iPhone 5’? If you’ve never owned an iPhone before and want one for ‘free’, the iPhone 4 would be a great choice. If you’re keen on spending a hundred bucks, the iPhone 4S will definitely last ‘longer’ for future iOS updates. If you are patient, wait until the next iPhone is launched, rumoured for this Fall. Once that happens, most likely the iPhone 4S will drop in price.
