If they had done this 5 weeks ago they might have kept an 11-year customer. Their loss; now Fido gives me 2GB w unlimied talk for $56. Was worth buying out the contract.

    Pretty good for TELUS.

Nothing to see here, keep moving….

iPhone’s arent included. Below is the fine print.

“Available ONLY with select smartphones on 2 year term and month-to-month”

“Available on activations and renewals until February 28, 2013, and not as a rate plan change.”

You should have gone with Koodo then… Same quality network for the cheap ppl 😉

the only thing its better is the in shareable data. but 10 dollars more over Fido 57. Pass

Koodo does not offer VVM for iPhone and has confirmed it has no plans to do so. Koodo”s $56 plan (Dec pricing) did not include Call Forward. Fido outscored the competition (Koodo and Virgin) on all features.
To its credit, Telus has the most liberal and lowest-cost policy for unlocking iPhones, which I was planning to do in advance of some spring travel anyway but Telus users can avoid that if they transfer to Koodo..
For me the other win has been that the Rogers/Fido network seems to be slightly stronger in the Greater Toronto Area where I spend most of my time.
