TELUS My Account for iPhone has gained a minor update, which now lets users add or remove Easy Roam within the app. The travel option launched about two years ago, allowing customers to roam outside of Canada, while using their existing plan for a daily fee.
Also new are “better, more helpful descriptions for Prepaid plans and add-ons”, plus various bug fixes, which TELUS says “to make your day more awesome”.
Back in February, TELUS My Account was updated to show six months of previous billing history.
The wireless company’s iPhone app has positive reviews in iTunes, averaging 4 stars out of 5, from 6,614 ratings. For comparison, MyRogers averages 2 stars out of 5 from 13,028 ratings, and MyBell Mobile averages 2 stars out of 5 from 654 ratings. TELUS’ app clearly is the most appreciated by customers out of the Big 3.
Later this month, TELUS will shut down the Koodo Self Serve iPhone app, citing “Customers have increasingly showed us their preference for our mobile site to manage their account, and less and less are using our Self Serve app.”
