Along with the recent Fido Circle Calling announcement, Virgin Mobile has now launched its own brand of the service called “myPeeps”. The new, free feature enables free local calling between people on the same Virgin Mobile account.
As users add other people to their Virgin Mobile account, each with their own monthly plan starting at $20/month, all the members on the same account get unlimited local calls between each other. Like with Fido, up to four extra people may be added per Virgin Mobile account for a total of five users per account.
This is a great service for those that are looking to create a Family/Couples Plan with Virgin Mobile. To get the feature, existing Virgin Mobile customers will have to call Customer Care to add “myPeeps” to their account. Newly activated Virgin Mobile accounts will have the feature added automatically.
