The plan offers unlimited US calling and $10/month service credits applicable to travel across Canada and the USA, or other add-ons and extras, as advantages over the company’s existing $40 per month plan.

According to the terms and conditions, the promo is available today and will be offered until December 24, 2014. News of this plan leaked yesterday on MobileSyrup, which internally is being called a holiday plan for customers.

my biggest concern is the coverage, is it really as bad as I heard?

  • Jason Bjerke

Same. I would make the switch in a heartbeat if it was decent coverage around Vancouver

Really crappy coverage in the suburbs. It’s why they are so cheap, and why Robbers ahem, Rogers can charge triple.

  • Toronto Lane

Well Toronto is perfect. No problems here even in the suburbs

Coverage in Ottawa is pretty good, even in suburbs. Wind is severely capacity-constrained downtown however, and even with a very strong signal, it’s rare to exceed 1 to 1.5 Mbps download speed.

I agree, when I was at Chateau Laurier in October, I couldn’t get anything from my iPhone 6.
