WIND Mobile has a Cyber Monday offer some of you might consider. For today only, they are offering 1GB of monthly data for 12 months for $99 per year. This works out to $8.25 per month, cheaper than last year’s similar deal at $10 per month. Normally, this plan costs $15 per month.
According to WIND, the discount is only available for one year, then it goes back to $15 per month. The plan is available for your tablet (i.e. iPad) or data stick and the retail value is $205 for this plan. As for overages, they will be charged at $10/1GB, up to a maximum of $30 per month.
If you’re in a WIND Mobile area with decent coverage, this might be one to consider, but for the most part be prepared to deal with a network slower than LTE from the Big 3. The plan is available online only and is for today only, with all sales final.
