WIND Mobile Promo: Data Stick with 2 Months Unlimited Data for $99

If you’re in an area with decent WIND Mobile coverage and need mobile internet on the go, the company is offering an online ‘web exclusive’ right now for an Alcatel X500U data stick with two months of unlimited data. The total package including the pre-activated SIM is worth $154.

Of course, the company’s fair usage policy applies, which means for mobile users of this unlimited internet plan, once you reach 10GB of data in one month, your connection will be throttled to 256 kbps for downloads and 128 kbps for uploads. If you happen to stay under the 10GB threshold you should be fine.

The USB internet stick works with Mac and PC computers and and comes with a microSD slot to store files.

WIND Mobile’s unlimited mobile internet plan is $35 per month so the data stick will cost you $15 per month in the end. If you’re in need of always on internet and don’t want to tether your iPhone, this might be a solution to consider.
