WIND Mobile has launched a new “Refer-a-friend” program, where existing and new WIND customers can each get $10 from every referral, powered by RewardSteam.
When you sign up for the program, you receive a unique referral link, which you can then send to friends or family. When the referee claims the offer within 15 days by visiting the Refer a Friend website, each party receives $10 credit. New referrals must visit WIND stores within 30 days to activate a new account and register their phone number on the Refer a Friend website.
Glen Campbell, Chief Commercial Officer for WIND Mobile, said in a statement “WIND is dedicated to bringing affordable unlimited wireless service to Canadians and the referral program is a great addition to our overall offering.”
Other carriers competing with WIND also offer referral programs. TELUS offers $25; Koodo offers $25 in tab credits; Rogers offers $25, while Fido offers the same amount as well. Bell and Virgin Mobile ended their program in early 2014.
The fine print says users agree to “only send referral messages to individuals with whom I have a personal or family relationship.” Let us know if you’re going to sign up for this.
