The original expiry date was set for December 31st, so that’s a pretty darn good extension for the promotion. The residents of Kawartha Lakes are in an uproar over four new wireless cell towers being built by Rogers Wireless. The Mayor, Ric McGee, says he’s got no control or say on where the towers will be installed, as that is up to Industry Canada.

Two weeks ago, Telus sued Rogers for apparently misleading advertisements claiming that Rogers is “Canada’s fastest network”. Now, Rogers has filed a suit against Bell Canada for misleading advertisements claiming that Bell has Canada’s “largest, fastest, and most reliable network”.
