Sometime this week, Apple and the Canadian wireless carriers increased the 3G file size limit for App Store downloads up to 20MB.
Previously, when users were connected to 3G, they could only download apps that were up to 10MB in size. Anything greater than 10MB needed a WiFi connection.

Effective this week, Telus has increased the number of bonus minutes customers receive when signing up on a Clear Choice iPhone plan. The promotion has no clear expiration date.
Previously, the iPhone plans offered 50 bonus minutes alongside a regular bucket of minutes. That amount has now been moved to 100 minutes. The promotion is available on 1, 2, and 3-year terms.

Effective December 11, 2009, Telus is waiving the $35 activation fee that customers are usually charged when starting up a new account.
Eligibility & Restrictions
The offer is applicable to new 3-year term activations on the following rate plans:
iPhone Clear Choice $50
iPhone Clear Choice $65
iPhone Clear Choice $80
iPhone Clear Choice $100
A $35 bill credit for 100% of the activation fee will appear on the customer’s first bill.
Effective December 11, 2009, new Telus customers that sign up on any Clear Choice iPhone plan will receive 6PM evenings for free ($7 value). The promotion expires January 1, 2010.
The bonus is available on the following 3-year term iPhone plans:

These two are like brothers fighting over toys.
This morning, Telus filed legal action against Rogers for misleading advertisements claiming that Rogers is “Canada’s fastest network”. Rogers has been running these ads, along with another one whose slogan is “Canada’s fastest network: two times faster than any other” since 2007. We have seen them all over television and billboards, but now Telus says they are false!
Oh Telus customers, you will not like this.
If you picked up the iPhone on Telus and purchased Visual Voicemail as part of your Telus iPhone plan, you have probably already realized that you do not have true Apple Visual Voicemail. If you have not realized this, try accessing your Voicemail service from your iPhone. Tada!…FAIL!
