Hey gents,
Great video Gary (LOL did you strap your video camera to your head?). Question for anyone - I've just done the front (pretty good, tiny bit of 'orange peel', one small scuff . How long do I wait to do the back side?

@ iphonefan - I heard of people vacuuming their pockets before placing the iphone in there to avoid lint dirt sticking to it. Thats just too crazy for me. I think the perfect combo is a shield (IS, Bodyguardz or BSE) with a nice slim pouch like Sena or Vaja. This way the iphone is kept/protected in a nice snug leather case when not in use thus avoiding scratches and dirt. When in use you will have no added bulk but still have some kind of protection. I'm just debating whether to get he Sena or the more expensive Vaja. Anybody have both these cases? Pros and cons please.

Justin: It sticks pretty well according to how you installed it initially. Removing the sheild is pretty darn easy and there is no residue left over.

buzz: LOL...you know you secretly love WMM!

OddyOh: nice technique, I should try that one day. ;)

2hot4u: it does guard the chrome but this generation of IS does not cover fully to the brim like the first gen. I actually like it better because on my first get since it was so close to the top part it tended to get caught on edges easily.

skyngai & bjohnson251: the opening ceremonies were just awesome. ahhh...bob ross! Yes, that guy was a legend...

Alan: Yes, that is normal. I am going to contact ZAGG to see if they have changed this.

sihotrain: the silver bezel is covered but not 100% like it was on the first gen. I think a revision will be coming soon from ZAGG. Maybe your pant pockets had way too much lint and dust! hehe. I keep mine in a horizontal leather flip case on the belt so that reduces dust/lint big time. It's on the edge of uber geek style, but I love it. ;)

The IS doesn't cover the silver bezel so it will get scratched if you accidentally put the phone in your pockets with coins or keys. Most people are also finding that the edges (all around the IS) and the corners attract dust and lint and is tough to remove. It protects the iPhone (apart from the silver bezel) from scratches but it also takes away from the sleek style of the iPhone. Some white iPhone owners have complained that the IS starts to turn yellow after a few weeks.

I took mine off after a few days because it was attracting too much dirt (dust and lint). Not sure if BSE or other alternatives are much better.

i really like ur guide iphonefan but just one question, the IS doesnt cover the WHOLE iphone does it? i already have mine installed and did a perfect job on the front but the back is just horrible. The edges are the hardest cuz they are round and all. when i finished the install, i noticed that the silver parts around the side of the iphone is not perfectly covered by the IS. Is that normal?
