If I purchased a new sealed iPhone does anybody know what firmware version it’s now shipped with? In other words would I be able to do jailbreak a brand new handset with this method? Also once jailbroken would I be able to connect it with iTunes (without downloading any updates obviously) and put any official apps and games on there too?

Has happened to me a few times, all i do is unplug the phone from the USB cable and it kicks it back in to life ?
