The day has finally come—Apple’s 2018 WWDC keynote is set to kick off at 10 AM PDT/1 PM EDT, in San Jose, California. The company is expected to preview the next versions of iOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS. No hardware is expected to be announced today, but surprises can always be in-store (and maybe an update on AirPower?).
Here’s how to watch all the action live, no matter where you are.
The easiest way is to watch on Apple’s Events page here. There are some specific requirements though, such as Safari or Microsoft Edge browsers:
This stream is best experienced on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using Safari on iOS 10 or later; a Mac using Safari on macOS Sierra 10.12 or later; or a PC using Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge.
Apple says “Other platforms may also be able to access the stream using recent versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264, and AAC required),” which is new.
The other way to watch the WWDC keynote is on Apple TV, via the Apple Events app—download here from the tvOS App Store.
