I installed an Invisible Shield over a year ago and it has held up well over the year. The face of my phone is still perfect and the shield is still just fine (no scratches etc). However, when I installed it one or two very fine hairs (thanks dogs!) got under the shield and have bothered me all this time so the other day I decided to remove the shield and reapply it removing the hairs if possible. I made up some more solution (water and a little alcohol) and removed the shield but the hairs were so ingrained in the sticky side of the shield by this time that they simply would not come off. With all my messing about I had impacted the integrity of the sticky side somewhat (surprisingly little though I must admit) so I figured a new one was in order. However, having used a naked Torch for a few days now I realise how much smoother and nicer it is than with the shield so considering that and the difficulty installing the shield I will not be getting a new Invisible Shield but will try something else.

maybe you put it on backwards like me :D. Because its impossible to get it on right with no bubbles when the sticky side is facing up and the smooth side is on the bottom.

I just bought an invisible shield for my iPod Touch and it was the biggest waste of $35 ever. What a piece of crap. You can't get all the bubbles out, the corners don't lay down nicely and the whole thing has a sticky feel to it. There are lots of other protective devices out there that are cheaper, look better and provide a bit of protection if you are unfortunately enough to drop your iPod.

I think I should get one of the free invisible shields for the iPhone, because when I was putting my old invisible shield on my current iPhone I put it on backwards XD. so, you see I need a new one and I would love for it to be free.

I bought the Invisible Shiled from Best Buy and I had them to install it for only $8, it took them about 3-5 minutes to install it on the front. I have a cool case from getuncommon.com, so there is no need for me to cover the back of the phone. This is the best thing for your Iphone if you don't want the face of it scratched. It is worth every penny, but let them install it for you, they know how and it takes them notime to do it! The shield does take away from the sensitivity from the phone it reduces fingerprints and it actually makes the phone look better because it gives it that glossy appeal.
