Earlier this year Apple launched a new section on its U.S. website called “Your Verse”, which showcased various stories on how people were using their iPads. The launch coincided with a TV ad that debuted during the NFL playoffs, with actor Robin Williams narrating the voiceover, an speech from the 1989 movie Dead Poets Society.

Today, Apple has added a new story to the website which focuses an in-depth story on how the iPad is “a new game plan for concussions.” The new site was first shared on Twitter by Apple executive Phil Schiller:

By using an iPad and the C3 Logix app, diagnosing concussions along with post-concussion treatment is made much easier and more accurately:

In the past, it was easy to miss a concussion because of highly subjective reporting from athletes and errors made during paper-and-pencil data collection. But with iPad and the app, Cruickshank can make injury assessments based on precise measurements. “Using iPad with C3 Logix, we get hard, factual data that we can put in front of the athlete and say, ‘Look, this is where you should be.’”
