i've been looking for a good wrap for my upcoming iphone 4 for a while. i compared a bunch of different wraps. and i noticed the invisible shield one is more like separated pieces combined together, i think it lets the black strip expose just like many out there. i'm a bit worry about it. that's why i bought the icolor wrap to give it a try since it covers the whole metal band. i hope invisible shield can really solve the problem completely. hopefully, we'll get some positive reviews soon!!

I ordered the maximum last week! Now all I need is my iphone 4. Hey for all you canadian guys how long did it take you to receive your shield when you ordered it through the first delivery shipment option?
I got the full body, but ended up with maximum protection. That's why I like Zagg, you have left over material on the edges that you can cut up yourself and put on places you think you need protection. I cut up the extra material they give you and put it on the sides of the iPhone 4, to protect the stainless steel and to also gain 1 more bar of reception. The bad thing is it will not be covered in the warranty, so I will have to purchase the maximum version if I want to be able to get a replacement for the sides later.

Same here. I ordered full body thinking for sure it would have the sides. Wishful thinking! I emailed them and here is what they said:
“In regards to your e-mail, you have purchased the full body easy install kit which only protects the front and the back of the device. Please always be sure to view the coverage for the device you are getting the invisibleSHIELD for the make sure you get the coverage you desire. You can either return this product for a refund or you can go online and file a warranty request and during the warranty process you can upgrade to the full body maximum coverage which includes coverage for the sides of the device.
I understand that you would like a refund for the Apple iPhone 4 (Full Body) that you purchased, order # IC1860341. We would be happy to extend a refund, providing your return mail is postmarked within 45 days of your original purchase date of June 22nd 2010.”
'Be sure to view' – umm yeah, I TRIED. Anyway i said F it and ordered the sided for 9.99 and used a 50% code. I think i might try a diff company next time. This is my 5th purchase with them.
This video is easily the best demonstration of how Apple's explanation of the antenna problem, and possibly their understanding of the nature of the problem, is total BS. They keep saying over and over that this is just an attenuation problem that all phones suffer from to some degree as the signal is blocked/absorbed by the hand. But this is clearly not a signal being blocked/absorbed by the hand, when all you have to do is touch it with a lone fingertip and short that sucker out.
Same with me, I ordered it the day of WWDC and got it almost a month later cuz of Paypal….. it took a week or so to process but yeah it should take you about 2 weeks to get if you have instant payment.
So is this a newer version of the Maximum Coverage package that they had first been selling? Because I had purchased it when it was first announced and I'm wondering if the piece that protects the antennagate side is indeed long enough to cover what this new antenna coverage package is about. It's hard to tell because it's still in the packaging and I don't want to open it incase I need to return it for this newer version.
Basically what I'm asking, if I got my Max Coverage a month ago will I need this newer 'antenna coverage' version or will mine be ok?

Umm so what was the “Maximum Coverage” BEFORE these side strips? I thought (before this) easy install was only front and back and maximum was sides as well. What was the difference between easy and maximum before?
I think youre going to need to get the new one. Yours will have the side pieces, but most likely they will NOT bridge the gap between the antenna pieces.

However, all of our previous designs also help greatly reduce the antenna issue of the Apple iPhone 4. Because we still have inventory of the older design, issuing a warranty replacement at this time will not guarantee the arrival of the newest design. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
However, as the new and old designs have only very slight differences, I suggest keeping the pieces you have and waiting until the invisibleSHIELD becomes damaged to place a warranty replacement request. At that point, we should be shipping only the new design.

I complained to ZAGG by email, and another CSR reviewed my case and asked me to submit a warranty claim for a new shield, this time with the antenna guard. So I'm getting the outcome I wanted – just needed to be a squeaky wheel!

I have had 7 different films from Zagg for my phones , macbook pro and an Acrhos 5 . I gave up buying from them because of discolouration problems, loosening up around the edge and lint sticking to it. The only give you one shield kit. A lot of these companies give you two for the same price incase you screw it up or gets damaged. Plus it’s a rubbery film and this makes swiping less fluid. You really notice the diff when you take it off. I’ve already received my bodyguardz and I just order an iphone 4 body kit from http://www.sgpstore.com They are getting awesome reviews and have a bunch of different choices for the iphone 4, even a matte option. They use a semi firm film that makes it less sticky and installation looks a lot easier. The full body matte option cost me 26 bucks. Check out their site.
