Thank you for the review! I have used an Otterbox defender case on my iPhone 1g for over a year now and it has provided great protection. The silicone case has started to get worn and the flap that protects the sync port at the bottom tore. I contacted Otterbox about purchasing a replacement silicone and Natasha sent me a replacement case free of charge! So Thanks Very Much Otterbox and I intend to get an Otterbox case once I replace my current iPhone with a newer model!!

I love my Otterbox Defender series case. I has fully protected my investment. I had to purchase a screen cover to get rid of the oil slicking effect on the front.

My biggest concern with the defender series case is now my iphone can not dock into anything such as a home theater or ihome clock radio and such. The case of the defender makes the overall dimensions of the iphone too big to dock.

I am eagerly awaiting an extension cord to be made available so I can plug my iphone into my other devices without having to remove my phone from the otterbox protective case. If anyone knows of an extension cord available for the iphone, I would love the suggestion.

These are the best phone covers you can ever buy and you can buy them in different colors – blk/blk blk/yel pink and all white they come in the defender series which is for the dust and accidental dropping and water resistant and they also have a waterproof series… awesome!! I have seen them in action and they really work

ok, so i tried other cases for my Iphone and finally broke down and bought this one. I am glad I did. Who CARES about the colors? It looks futuristic on my Iphone and people are always stopping me to ask me about the case. And did i mention i dropped my Iphone with this case on? I did !! and it was just fine. I lOVE the Otterbox. It is worth every penny. They also have coupons for discount. You just have to find them on the web.
