Not being able to download some attachments - like WMV, mime, etc - is my bone of contention! If Apple cannot do this than hopefully someone will construct an application to do this function. I downloaded a landscape keyboard (free) and it works just great for email etc. But no reason for Apple not to keep up with the competitors to iphone 3G.

I want MMS (picture) messaging. So stupid, the iphone takes pictures, and my plan with rogers includes picture messaging. But for some reason iphone doesn't have it. And i tried Swirly MMS (from Cydia), and it doesn't work for me. So get on that Apple.

Yeh, I'm in the same boat. My TomTomOne car navigator crapped out on me recently and I've had to rely on the not-so-great Iphone Google Maps app, which is better than nothing, but no substitute for a proper navigator. Adding turn by turn live navigational functionality to Google maps would be great, so as to avoid having to add yet another app (and likely pay mega bucks for it). From the sounds of it, this value added functionality is coming soon... great, cuz I could not find any car navigator apps in the Apple Store...

How about a release where no new features were added, only bug fixes? I'd settle for automatic fetch to be working again. A bug that kills fetching while the display is off is a fail of epic proportions.
