Apple Invites Australian Press to WWDC Keynote: Major Announcement Coming?

With Apple’s sold out WWDC 2011 kicking off next week, the world will get a ‘preview of the future of iOS and Mac OS X’. Earlier rumours hinted that Apple PR had invited members of the British press to attend the keynote, which we can allude to a major announcement coming soon.

Now, members of the Australian media has been invited by Apple to attend the keynote. The following tweet by Australian tech reporter, Charlie Brown (@charlietech) reads:

I think something big will be announced on June 6th in San Fran, by #Apple. I have just been invited to attend the event 🙂

Did Charlie let the cat out of the bag? We think so, because the tweet has since been deleted. With Apple reaching out to international members of the media, we can only expect a massive announcement to occur on the day of the keynote on June 6th.

What’s coming? iPhone 5? iPhone 4S?
