Apple VP and Corporate Controller Betsy Rafael to Retire Oct. 2012

Security Exchange Commission filings today reveal Apple’s Vice President and Corporate Controller, Betsy Rafael is slated to retire from Apple as of October 19, 2012.

(b) Betsy Rafael, Apple Inc.’s Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, will retire from Apple effective October 19, 2012.

Formerly a VP of Finance at Cisco Systems, the 49 year old Rafael has been Apple’s principal accounting executive since 2008.
