It's only for new users who sign up to Tethering they told me. For those who have 1GB+ Data Plan don't get charged extra or something.

If they try to change your Data Plan (3 year contract) then you would be able to cancel.

Fido/Rogers: “We want to change your data to something lower.”
You: “You do? Cancel it then, I refuse to pay you!”

hold up a sec here… since my data plan is on contract with fido, does this mean i can cancel without penalty on december 31st when they take away my right to tether?
